Baltic Training Services and Clear Software Developers are excited to be recruiting for an Apprentice Software Developer to join their existing and talented team in Chorley.

About Apprenticeships

You will be working alongside existing staff and be mentored and trained to carry out the following duties:

  • Develop, support and maintain our commercial software
  • Software testing and design
  • Bug fixes
  • Updating products/adding new features
  • Customer Support 

Training to be provided:

  • Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Software Development 
  • Level 3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
  • Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Systems and Principles
  • Level 2 Functional Skills (English, Maths, and ICT)

Skills and qualifications required:

  • Confident
  • Good time keeping skills
  • Working within deadlines 
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of VB.NET, WPF and MS SQL would be a benefit 

The future is bright
Upon completion of the 12-month programme, there are real progression opportunities available. Along with your employer, you may decide to progress onto our level 4 programme and take your training even further.
Salary, hours and benefits

  • £132 per week
  • Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm

Location and travel
Located in Chorley Lancashire, at the heart of the motorway network.
The local train station is nearby that runs services to both Preston and Bolton. There is also good bus routes from areas such as Wigan.
